I never seem to care if we are are on the other side. Damn alone

Today I put in my vote for out school election.

It is crazy how caught up we get in school and superficial things and people dont even bother to vote. As a canadians we are subject to many privileges; freedom of speech, sexuality, and to vote. We get to choose who looks after the place we live in and somehow people view that as unimportant. When I am eighteen I will want to vote and I will want to do what I can to improve this spectacular country that still has many flaws.

I was thinking about my perfect utopia while listening to the theLord of the Rings soundtrack. I kind of envisioned a place where people didn't live in huge houses, they lived in castles or tiny little cottages in the middle of the forest and everyone wore earthy, light, happy clothing and everyone were just happy hippies going about the generosity and whatever else it is that hippies do.

Hippiedom seems like the place for me.

Tomorrow - at the hippie esque hour of 630 am I am leaving to go to Youth Combatting Intolerance Camp. It is going to be one of those brilliant experiences I never forget. I am going to feel so vulnerable and safe at the same time.. Or at least that is what every one says about it.

SO excited this seems like a perfect place to spend a few days.
